RUDY SARZO's Book On Early OZZY OSBOURNE Touring Days Due In September

April 5, 2005

Veteran hard rock bassist Rudy Sarzo (QUIET RIOT, OZZY OSBOURNE, WHITESNAKE, DIO) has a (what looks to be) very promising book being released in September which will include a first-person account from his personal day-by-day diary of events while touring with Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoads in the early Eighties.

Entitled "Off the Rails - My Adventures in the Land of Ozz", the book is being decribed as an animated, often hilarious tale which includes all of Ozzy's antics as seen from inside the band. It is also an in-depth and personal look into the guitar greatness of Rudy's good friend, the guitarist Randy Rhoads, who died tragically in a airplane accident while on tour with the band. There are also plenty of never-before-seen photos of Randy, Ozzy and Sharon that come from Rudy's snapshots of the tour.

Rudy Sarzo played bass for OZZY OSBOURNE from March 1981 to November 1982. He has also played bass for QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE and YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, and is currently on tour with DIO.

"Off the Rails - My Adventures in the Land of Ozz" will be published by Cherry Lane Music, and will be released on September 15, 2005. It will list for $17.95.
